i just dealt with something like this make sure u get somethin in writing that he hit u and will pay for it. the cops don't care if u have everything. they need proof or confession. just do it to save your butt. use my theory don't trust anyone..

 

I always make a police report. This way if he doesnt take care of it, u have proof the event happened. He could claim it never happened, and its your word against his.
