"Today" (whatever day that was in the conversation you two had) was apparently the day that was not a good time for her. Sometimes a little hard to tell when to give up on something like that though (because she might not be always telling the truth that she really doesn't want to "today")... Yeah there needs to be less giggily talking/joking about things, and more action. It's pretty clear that she wants you to run the show and not be a bitch about it.
