Default Stuck in the snow...[Sorry, no pics]

I got stuck in the Best Buy parking lot in the snow. I pulled into a parking spot and...um...SANK!!! I guess the plower had pushed a bunch of snow into this parking spot and flattened it out a little. The parking lot has a lot of dips & stuff, so I didn't even think about the snow being that thick til it was too late! Anyway, stuck in a dip in the parking lot with snow up my tires ~5 inches. Not fun. Ended up rocking it out back and forth for 15 minutes! Snow blows! (Kind of giving second thoughts to putting my lowering springs on now. Anyone think that I still SHOULD put them on?)

Prolly wouldn't need an intercooler or one of those cryo systems later then, huh?

All you'll need is a scoop running close to the ground to dump snow onto intake tubing:-D

lowering springs means closer to the ground..more weight down and less ability to sway.. helps to get better traction...at least i think??? ...i never had time to get lowering springs..my car only sat 3 inches off the ground anyway..and i scraped too much

Alright, you all helped me make up my mind. I think tomorrow or the next day would be a good day! How much of my ride will suffer with the new shocks and springs? I still got the stock tires...I'm gonna look into studded front tires too...See if I can get more of a pull from a stop (I have a hard time starting from a light in second at 1000-1500RPM!!!) Just too light or something!

Two guys with ***** (or one guy with a beer or two) can easily push a Civic out of a situation like that.

Put 'em on!!!

When I was stuck, I was about to look at my friend in the pax seat and tell him to do that! Anyway, got them on today. Not gonna lower 'em for a while. They're adjustable coilovers, so when it warms up I'll lower 'em. Just have to worry about my alignment now. But I can already see a difference...Not THAT much stiffer, but noticeable. And it puts more traction to the wheels, cuz I can pull stronger already!!! Awesome!!! (Although, taking the 10 year old shocks/struts off prolly helped too! )
