Went and took my drivers training test, was easy peasy. Passed it with nothing wrong. Just thought I would tell you guys

yep sure did! time to get a car now, but my dad is a whole OMG AMERICAN cars kind of guy so right now it is hard to convince him to let me get a japaneese car

now its time to play it cool & start sucking up to dad & maybe he'll kick in some $$$ for your first car

Ask him to go out with you one Saturday morning and drive around to about 10 or so suto shops. ((Now the week before you need to call these shops and make sure they have good things to say about Hondas)) Talk to the mechanincs about what kinds of problems they see Hondas come in with and how often they come in. Then ask them how often they see American cars having to com in for service.

Then find Consumer Reposrts ratings on the year and trim level Civic you want. Show them to him. Just dont give up. And Good luck.

make a list of pros and cons, you'll convine him, or do what windcalmer siad, thats a good idea lol
