my longtime girlfriend recently got the phrase "love your life" in arabic (it was verified by an arab guy at the tobacco shop) on her right hip. she got it because i kind of saved her from a lot when we began dating, so i thought it was sweet.

my girlfriend has 4 right now, and we talk about me getting one, but i dont know a good tattoo person here, and i have better ways to spend my money. in college i was considering a few things and one my buddy's wife did that crap where they draw on you, and it stays for a few weeks...i got a few things, but nothing that i really liked enough after a few weeks to get inked for good.

i have always thought about getting tire tread around my forearm... or "live by the sword, die by the sword" with crossed hockey sticks...

 

Im 20 and to this day my old man says Ill be cut off if I get a tattoo. I dont really want one anyway. Once you get it, your kinda stuck with it.

I guess Im too afraid of changing my mind in 10 or 20 years.


BTW, My friends and I always have a good laugh and many assumptions when we see the girl with the tramp stamp

 

i like your idea. i kinda want a tattoo but i just cant think of anything that i will still want in a few years. i change my mind a lot
