Default Terminated from job

Well I cant believe it but I was actually fired from my job today, thank god not for a behaviour or conflict issue but more so that the company feels I wasnt performing my best. I don't like to burn bridges so luckily I didnt this time around but I sure won't use this as a reference (although Ive only been there for 2 1/2 months so not much of a reference anyways) Its ironic though that I was thinking about quitting and actually just went for an interview on Monday, so hopefully Ill get this new job right away! Anyone else been fired/released lately and what are you doing now? I guess no motor swap before winter now lol.

Yeah, you won't typically perform well at a job that doesn't interest you. Look for a new job that is stimulating and gives you an opportunity to learn something new (growth).

this may seem obvious, but never go work for fast food.

it sucks because you have to deal with hungry people... and hungry people are emotional and rude.

i meant like a lot of people... like not everyone but enough people to where it's annoying.
Like when you mess up someone's order a little bit and they bring it up to the counter and they act like their day is ruined because of it and get all pissy... It's like, STFU i'm gonna fix it.

Yeah I know when that stuff happens to me I just tend not go back to that fast food place. If they cant make something the way you want it then why go back there. Thats why a lot of people get pissed off is because they eat there a lot and always trust them.

ya people get crazy at lunch time especially if they got to make it back to work or something. I was fired from a oil extraction plant (very ****ty work conditions anyways) and I work as an apprentice millwright, I have found another millwright job already but it is in another town but is much better conditions (shop work) and the pay is the same. When you go for an interview, how long does it usually take for a decision to be made when it involves more then one possible applicant?
