i got to test drive an 06 GTO at work last night... going 45 you can just floor it and slide the *** end all over the place in third. the spedo goes up to 200mph. but the car wont let you go above 125. it hits it and says "O-Speed" on the display. i would be pissed to dump that much money into a car and hit the top speed in fourth gear (out of six). it also really doesnt handle that great. it slides around quite a bit. sort of dissapointing, but still a fun car.

 

They are ok, a lil heavy for me though. I can toast one on the street from a rool.

 

thats kinda funny... why would they govern a beast like that? its like kissing your sister. makes no sence.

 

Mine aint I can tell ya that. I have seen around 145mph in mine and it had enough to keep going.

 

it really doesnt make sence. but im sure someone will have a repburn for the pcm soon... if they dont have one yet.

 

i dont know about the GTOs, but i know they are having a helluva time breaking into that new Z06s computer.
