The last thing you need is *another* loan. If your car is fine stick with it. Obviously, you dont have the scrap $150 laying around for a fully painted front bumper. I dont think it would be a good idea to just run out and buy an almost 7 year old car with a loan on top of your head.
You just dont want another black Si around for some healthy competition Remmy. Still I dont mind going from one loan to another and pay a little more a month. To me it would be me getting out of this 97 that needs timing belt, water pump, new brakes, new rotors, new front bumper, new cat, maybe new fenders, all new suspension, and a bunch of other things I cant think of right now besides that B16 would be a way better engine to build on. Also black paint is better than white paint. Still ill deal with the dude and see what I can do, if I dont get this car its not the end of the world and I wont lose any sleep over it. Im still planning on getting another twin turbo 300zx in a couple of years.

Well, I thought I would throw that out incase you didnt think of it. But if you must have it go out and get it then. BTW, Im not worried about competition, you've got a lot of catchin' up to do in that chapter

LOL i just called that salesman and told him I will not take anything less than 2500 for my car and I want that Si for 8000 out the door and immediately he agreed said "do we have a deal?". Them salesman are sooooo shady. Trying to lowball me and get rid of that Si that probably is messed up in some way. Anyways I decided against buying that car since im moving into that apartment in 6 days. Besides I like my 97 even though that bumper makes me ashamed. Maybe Ill look into getting one next spring when all my debt and bills should be paided off. Thanks y'all

it's the dealership's job to squeeze as much profit out of a vehicle as they can, so of course they're not going to give you anything for your car.

sell your car on craigslist like i did with my civic ex.

i made a $500 profit and didn't even have to pay to advertise it.

1800$ for your car thats not good man
according to KBB.com my car private value at fair condition is 4,500$ and i have LX 97 not EX not SI. take my advice dont buy used cars from dealers coz their prices will be sky high.
im gonna buy the new civic soon (SI hopefully) and sell my LX .
