Default TEST DROVE S2K TODAY!!

WHAT A MACHINE. Took one out for a test drive today, lots of fun, top down 9k rpm action. Gave it a good blast down some fine UK twistys, chassis is very stiff and the feel of the car is nothing like the civic, stiff but balanced clutch and a short notchy gear throw. You have to watch the tail though, had one moment on a damp manhole cover going round a bend but I caught it. And plenty of lift off oversteer, had to keep the right foot planted on the bends its such a drivers car.
Had a little play with an Audi RS4 which was fun, didnt want to give it back at the end but after getting back in the civic I decided that I will be buying one hopefully in the near future.

I love that car, but unfortunately it doesn't love me back. I test drove one and it is just too small. My knees were just too crammed... Not made for long-legged folk.

the guy who is going to tune my civic, and also helping me with my SRT drives a turbo'd S2K. He made 307whp on 6.2 psi...now hes pushing 35psi.

I test drove a stock 06 a few weeks ago, they are peaky cars. I liked how comfortable it was on the highway, however power delievery was a lot different than what im use to.

The driver cockpit is very narrow too... like riding in a go cart.

Im 6'1 and fitted in fine, yes the engine is peaky but im used to that, nothing like driving a turbo or a diesel car, but then you either love it or hate it, thats the thing with vtec, it was very driveable around town and didnt seem to use much juice, but once you get on the open road its a different beast.
When I get mine it wont be staying stock anyway, just not sure which road im going down tuning wise yet.

^ Really? That's cool though. I just couldn't get comfortable in that thing at all, as much as i wanted to... I guess it's just driver preference when it comes down to it. [8D]
