-People that call magazines "clips". It's not correct, not even a little. It wouldn't bug me so much if it was out of pure ignorance, but it's just out of stubbornness. You can correct someone on the issue and you usually get "my father called them 'clips' in the military", which just means you're father was issued an ancient long gun or he's just as stubborn and wrong as you.

Gene, how often do I slip on grammar, specifically, contractions? I think one time in at least five years isn't bad. Besides, it probably wouldn't have happened had I not been switching between several windows and watching TV while typing that

Besides, if I was that worried about having slipped on grammar, I'd have edited my post. I'm an admin; it doesn't show edit tags when I edit one of my own posts. As for Gene's quote, well, you can modify text within quote tags while posting, so there wouldn't be any real proof that I had actually used the contraction "you're" instead of the possessive "your".

and the windshied spray nozzles. My far right one is set to spray completely above my car and nail any retarded tailgater.
