Default Threre's a war a'brewin on the net...

"Anonymous" versus Scientology. I know this has a video in it, but it should be considered off-topic because this is more of a debate other than a "hey look at my video" thread. Now afterI said that, look at my video

http://youtube.com/watch?v=JCbKv9yiLiQ

In my opinion, scientology is a cult and it must be destroyed. Don't start attacking me because of my opinion, but I have read up on all of the things having to do with this, and have made my own personal opinion.

This is FOX 11 on anonymous, which they haven't done any research about.

You can read more about it here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Chanology
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Clambake

On scientology controversy, check out mis treatment of members,
and L Ron. Hubbart starting a religion for money.
While the often-cited rumor that Hubbard made a bar bet with Robert A. Heinlein that he could start a cult is likely an embellishment, many witnesses have reported Hubbard making statements in their presence that starting a religion would be a good way to make money.
To be honest, they scare me. The more I look into this, the more I become against it. I want to let you guys know, (if you haven't heard already) and would like to know where you all stand against it.

Maybe I missed something, but what does a group of internet tards who got beat up too much in highschool have to do with a religion that was invented as a joke? Just not seeing the connection.

On a side note, I agree that their religion is a little strange, but I have never met a follower personally, and do not have enough information on them to make an educated judgement towards them.

OP, I really wish you had not posted this. While I agree that the church of Scientology should be dismantled, death threats and other harassment is not the way to do it. In addition, people dressing up in /b/rother garb is equally stupid. They are putting themselves in physical danger by going to their place of worship and "raiding for the lulz." Please take down the real life raid locations. The only way to make people abandon Scientology is to educate them.

This also puts our forum in jeopardy of being raided and/or investigated. I know you didn't violate them, but please obey the spirit of rules 1 & 2 before posting anywhere on the internet.

You didn't look intoany ofthis did you... Anonymous is not a set group of nerds withlarge glasses who fight with lightsabers. Just because you post on the internet doesn't make you one, does it?
On a side note, I'm pretty sure there are more than "internet geeks" posting on forums... are there not?...

Trey this should explain Anonymous a little better. The Scientology attack is a radical departure from what Anon used to be.

I think you're taking my post too seriously. I just didn't see anything linking the people of Anonymous to the Scientologists. I watched the first two videos and saw a group of hackers who get their kicks by picking on innocent people (most likely due to being picked on themselves and wanting to be the bully for once), and a video explaining a person's view on a rediculous religion. Didn't see anything that linked the videos. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention. [&:]

they enjoy attacking people on world of warcraft too.
they killed my guild with 400 members while we all watched and could do nothing.
me and my buddy were able to track his IP down to alton illinois, then i proceeded to tell him that i can and will drink a 12 pack , kick in his front door and slaughter his family.
he killed his net connection.

they're all a bunch of pussies, dont pay any mind to them.
