i hate to be the bearer of bad newz but the Si requires premium gasoline.

if your wife has a lead foot, she may not be saving that much in the long run.

and I'm pretty certain that your car insurance will rise because the Si costs a lot to insure.

make sure you do some research first... and then say phukit, i'm getting the si anyway. lol.

The 06 SI doesn't really get that good gas milage, like 20 MPG. But go for it cause those cars kick ***.

My last average was 27.8 with bout 60% highway and I get down on it pretty often and shifting around 4000-4500 rpms, that was on my last fillup. It is rated at 23 city which I haven't checked but I have checked strictly highway and got 34.5, it is rated at 35. That was at about 2000 miles and now have over 8300. If I drove it more conservatively then it would have gotten better.

how about you give her the EX for gas milage and get the Si for yoursel as a toy/DD? an air intake and an exhaust will put you into consistant 14s easy.
