Default Trading My Benz

With much discussion with my wife, I have decided to trade in my beloved Mercedes Benz E320 to give a little personal sacrifice and help out the USA. I am in the market for an economical diesel powered car. I'm pretty much trying to do my part and not give Arabs my money. Plus, my father and some other business associates now operate a Bio Diesel developer and they fill their cars for about a buck a gallon!

So how about some ideas on a really nice diesel car? I used to have a jetta TDI but they are too small for a family... any tips on what to look for? I am hopefully doing this by Friday so anything would be great!

*important* I am not looking for a SUV or a hybrid, just diesel! Thanks guys!

hmm, i don't know of any diesel ars aside from VW and MB. Then again, I'm not sure if mercedes even releases diesel cars for the US market. Looke like you're only option would be to find an older MB

I would go with an older Benz diesel. MB also makes some newer diesels. I think the H1s come in diesel as well.

that was my initial impression. Therefore, check out VW and MB - they are the only ones that may have diesel cars.

I don't think Benz actually makes a diesel here do they? I thought it was just VeeeeeDub and trucks now-a-days.

They have diesels... the E320 CDI is one of the cars we just went to look at this afternoon. It is a little over 61 grand and has just about everything in it... tomorrow we look at volkswagen... see, we looked at the very best first so when we check out volkswagen tomorrow it will be easier to manipulate my wife!

... I am sure that by Thursday I'll be probably driving a horrible TDI Beetle... I should have switched the cars BEFORE I got married! Somethings you just cant see ahead of time... I love your sig Andryuha! Nice lineup of BMWs! Very classy!
