I'm excited cuz I was just looking forward to some good transformers bashing, and then I hear it got good reviews too. I was not expecting that and am even more excited to see it now.

It was really good, very happy with it. Dunno if it tops the times I had with the cartoon and whatnot when I was a kid.. but it was -really- good. I missed the original voice for Megatron tho, Optimus Prime just isn't right without him. I was hoping to hear Starscream too.. oh well.

I was worried until I saw the theatrical trailers. Glad to hear the storyline holds water!!! Now I just gotta find the time... (45min drive 1 way to the nearest theater with good modern full surround sound & really big screen)

BEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!! I went to the mid-night show last night and i am still speech less from how good the movie was. I will be going back to see it more than once.
pretty sure the show came before the comic books, but not by much...

either way, both were released in 84

still haven't seen it, would like to, but no time
