Truthfully has anyone spent some real money on there civic performance wise. if so how much and what hp difference have you gotten from your investment?

 

i have a 87 crx si that i got for free. and ive dropped 9650 in to my last block. it was pushing 485 at 16 psi w/o full throttle. my new b20 pushed 587 at 25psi last night with nitrous at full throttle.

 

dumb question at those boost levels you have to have an intercooler right?

 

at half those u have a intercooler

 

by "performance", I assume you mean straight line performance. in that case, ive put about 3500-4K into mine, but the motor itself is mostly stock. and i have nearly 80% more power than stock. my QT have gone from 16.68 to about 14.8-15.2 give or take. i havent ran it yet with the newest motor. but its a blast to drive on the street, and well worth the money ive spent. esp since im just getting started

 

I've spent too much on performance and I don't have enough to show for it.

 

spent 3500 on a motor headers, cai, and im...and very pleased with the results. oh and 200 on a skunk2ecu. ill spend another 1000 this summer on cams, cam gears, valvetrain, and tuning.
