yah it might be giving us a run for our money, if they were quick jk lol 205 crank hp compared to 230 whp is a little different...however modded they are getting potential, i think they are already in the 12s, good accomplishment for them considering...lol
Would have been much better if they used the 2.0 Ecotec TURBO isntead of that poor a ss supercharger.

I have buddies that have SRT's great cars. Lots of great stuff out there. The SVT's . Hondas are fun cars also. Just making a point that Saturns need alittle more respect then just a junk roll over. I could spent alot of bucks and make my car faster, but when does it end? Just making sure the Saturn earns alittle respect.

tho Ion red line is not held back by pcm on this one numb nut..... good call on sh*t u really dont know sh*t about..... i have burried my speedo at 140 and it kept going we have something called a super charger mister eaton tends to push the car to 144 145 isg but its just runs out ofjuice that hi up there in 5th gear.... i mean we all know honda with vvvvvvttttaaaakkkk can hit speeds up t0 500 mph with nnnnooozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and a bigger wing
Being I have been into Jbodyies/delta platform cars since my brother could drive his old *** saturn about 8 years ago, I know a thing or two about them now about GM sport compacts.
Your 2006 saturn ION is speed governed by the PCM to 120mph, it does this by using a fuel cut off switch. There is no chip to remove this and the only was getting around it is a VSS mod(which is felony fraud and destroys your speedo) or to completely rewire your fuel system with a IFMS. "Mr. Eaton" doesn't do jack sh*t to change that fact
i also have the better 06 ver of this car.... i tend to stop picking races with the 06 civic si..... not since there faster but since i constantly walk then like i out walk a 99 year olds. nornal ions are slow..... like honda just think of the ion red line as ur honda type-r.
It's ignorant GM-humpers like you that give all domestic owners like me a bad name. I drive an ecotec, but you don't see me coming on this forum bashing all hondas. So take your RL(nice car I like em) and go back to your delta forums. And stop hating on the hondas cause your PIG of a compact car isn't liked.

uhm, same weight same power, Honda has infinate better transmission/suspension. SI/RL would be a drivers race, don't think your car is God. oh and by the way congrats champ, your supercharged car can hang with an all motor car
