Default Update on the rebuild.

As of 1:22 a.m. central time, the car is up and running again. The engine has been fortified with a new shortblock, JE 9.0:1 pistons, Crower rods and a new Spearco intercooler. The car has been fitted with brand spanking new drag radials from BFGoodrich. That should help correct the insane wheelspin at on launch. It will be tuned to run 20psi at the track and 15 on the street within the week. Right now, it is running extremely rich but that should hopefully be solved by the next time it is at the track. The car will run at the track next tuesday at Test and Tune, if not sooner. Look for a video of a (hopefully) 11 second pass. I am bringing a friend to video tape this event, so afterwards I don't want to hear the bull**** of the haters. Look for a video next week. That is all.

Nah, I've only barely pulled an 11. 11.98 to be exact. We'll see what happens.

i also look forward to it, mostly because i like to add to my fairly large racing video collection. try to make sure that you dont have one of those videos that you cant see the scoreboard or cant tell what kind of cars are running...
