This is what I dont understand about SUV's and trucks for the most part anymore and the people who buy them. I for one see a truck as a way to haul stuff or tow stuff but anymore they are made to look good rather than perform good. Give me a 69 Chevy C-10 with a 250 inline 6 and a 4 speed with a bulldog gear(really low 1st gear). Same goes with SUV's but on a different note. The people of the world and mainly the U.S. bitch about gas prices but yet they feed the monster that is opec by buying SUV's that get from 11 to 14mpg while having no need in them for the most part. It's pointless.......kinda like saying "stay off drugs" but then going home and stuffing your nose with $500 worth of coke.

My old mans 03 RR will tow his wifes hosre trailer with two horses on cruise control at 80 mph. And its only a 4.6 V8.

 

Good call MD. However OPEC will be the least of our worries in about 60 years. Global warming will rip this planet apart at that stage in the game. I must admit though, of the SUV world which I largely despise, RR would have to be my favorite in regards to its design.

I totall agree. Buy a truck for the TRUCK.

 

I know and never said they cant pull stuff but they are a far cry from what the old Toyota Land/Range Rovers used to be as far as 4WD abilities, and Pete I agree.

 

^ I agree with both of you. Nothing worse than some who by=uys a truck and puts rims on it.. doesnt make sense.
