So i just drove to vegas and back yesterday to pick up sum fireworks and visit sum friends. Long *** drive wow. I had to take 300 miles in detours alone becuase cops were searchin cars (fireworks illegal in cali) and a truck exploded on the freeway so it got closed. All in all i drove for about 1000 miles without stopping except for gas. It was about 110 degrees the whole way. I got home with 99998 miles on the car. Yeah, is it bad on the car to drive it that long at about 3700 RPM?

damn your car must be really comfortable to last 1000 miles without stretching. I dont know for sure but i am guessing it would be ok, as long as it had enough coolant, enough oil, and it never heated up on you.
Hehe fireworks, i just got a guy to go to indiana to buy some for me because that is where the best deals are, and they sell more than just sparklers.

 

1000 miles for fireworks? I thought we had it bad in Illinois cause we have to drive like 2 hours to Indiana to get fireworks, how do you do it? I hear they search for fireworks in the Indiana/Illinois and Wiscolnson/Illinois border as well, but i've never been searched the many times i've went to WI but then again i never went around July 4th weekend.

Nah, it's not bad for it. I did three 1000+ mile days in a row a couple months ago and it was fine.

Also, why not hit up Mexico?.. where in cali are you?

 

its about the same distance to vegas or mexico. im an hour north of Los Angeles. PLus its easier to get back from vegas than the mexican border at this time of year with the fireworks
