Why were you banned? Did you actually hack their system? or were you cheating on the server, cause i know the HalfLife 2 servers will Ban you if you cheat lol.
And just cancel then reactivate your internet service, they should change the IP address then

I was banned by Punkbuster completely, and ACI and all that sh*t. Although I can now get on servers, because i changed my MAC, my IP is the same which is banned. And if im ownin nubs they start lookin into me and see I was previously banned on an old account with the same IP, and start hassling me about it. Almost 18

Yeah and if you really wanted to play online you could close then reopen your acount, or switch providers.
Was it that bad that you don't want to tell us? or was it a simple thing like cheat on a system that bans cheeters (like the steam server)

Have you never played an online game? thats what its called. Aimbot, Wallhack, etc, are called hacks, which make you a hacker because your using the hacks.

if you get caught you're not that h-word You're just a lamo...and on the changing the IP and MAC don't even get me started...if you knew ANYTHING about networking you'd be able to do it easily and free without changing providers...

Alright so if I dont get caught im a hacker, but if I do get caught im not a hacker....uhm, no? the programs used to enhance normal human being gaming is called a hack, not a cheat, not a glitch, a hack. If you use hacks, your considered a hacker. Its common sense. Theres no if I get caught zomfg im not a hacker anymore! No. Your a hacker either way if you use the hack

Your not a hacker. Hackers are people who try to expand the normal limit of what a certain technology can do. Have you ever taken something that wasn't designed for a certain purpose and made it do something else?
