as some of you know we have a member here on hcf named "nemo" some of you also know that he was a DJ.

as i was mixing last night, i was going over a new mix i finnished. i decided to read the back of a cd cover. then i knoticed this.

I saw the title to this thread and started to worry, my cover was blown.

 

Actually I have made it on the back of a few CD cases in the thank you part but I am no producer as of yet. There are a few other DJ's that use the name nemo also, one is from overseas somewhere and is pretty large but he spins Trance ([:'(]) whereas I am a funky house aficionado!!!

 

my bad. i figured how many nemo's can there be. aperently alot.

 

whats wrong with trance?

 

My friend is hopelessly addicted to trance. Always plays it in his car when he is dropping me off. The only thing i find more annoying is the sound of the stupid exhaust he has on his 3000GT, i could fit my shoe (maybe both) into that damn muffler.

id rather you keep those things to yourself. there is nothing wrong with trance or any dance music. including house, techno, progressive anything, electro, or any other sub genre of dance.

 

The only thing wrong with Trance is that it is the bastard child of House music. Trance was more accepeted in the mainstream and immediately became known as "rave" music when it actuallity it is a form of the music that spawned it all. Trance is depressing to me with all its epic and progressiveness, but House is always uplifting and spiritual. House is a feeling, and when you feel it you will understand.

 

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, its just not my cup of tea.

 

Trance was the music accepted in the clubs when parties went to the clubs instead of the wharehouses and abandon venues. House is where it all started!!!
