My wedding car was a 1976 Stingray Corvette. Which my father-in-law gave me as a wedding present at the reception.
I layed a patch of rubber right out the parking lot.

If i were you, i would use it as an excuse to get some rims or a paint job or something. Get it lookin **** and span.

 

Do what you want man. I have seen weddings go either way on everything. I once saw a very, very, very formal wedding where the had everything colorcoded right down to the Little napking thingies the groomsmen were wearing in their pockets
I have also seen a wedding where ther bride and groom showed up ion a beat up old 80's crown vic it was like the color of rust and bird **** mixed together. Or maybe it was the clor of rust and it was covered with bird ****. idk, but then they also stepped outof the vic wearing camoflauge shirts and overalls. everyone was wearing it. it was very distastefully done. I would say do what makes you feel good. and if you're woman loves you and not material things she shouldn't really care. you know what i mean
