For both sides of my family this year we are not giving presents. We are buying X-mas gifts for two families that are broke and down on their luck. One family has four kids and the father is out of work with cancer. The other family is Dad that has two little girls and a newborn boy, with the mother having just gotten arrested for sleeping with a minor.(The husband had no idea it was going on till he got a call from the cops telling him his children were at the police station. Now he is having to pay her legal bills and paying his own lawyer to get a divorce. I feel so bad for him, cuz she is a crazy person.)
So that is what I am doing. I am glad we are doing it, but damn this means that I wont get the fat check from my grandparents that I always use for car parts. LOL
