I wouldnt mind an Ariel Atom.

 

After getting a newer Civic/Fit/Corolla/Yaris for economy, I'd LOVE to be able to get a 4dr Jeep J8 here in the states. Just the 3000lb payload capacity, 7500+lb towing capacity, and D60 rear axle would make it an AWESOME convertible SUV. If they added the turbodiesel too, they might even manage 30MPG.

I'd also like to see Jeep revert to the drop-down tailgate and removable tire swing, ala CJ7. They could even offer 2 rear-door configuration options, like GM did with the Sub/Tahoe. (Some yuppies like the side-mounted gate.) Then the Jeep could easily be used as a pickup occasionally, with even a bed extender possibility for dirtbikes.

If Jeep just offered these options, they wouldn't even have to consider re-tooling for something like the JT/Scrambler/pickup that so many people are yammering about.

How hard is it to pull the doors off the HiLux Surf?

 

88-91 AWD white civic wagon with colored rota wheels dropped a little. That would bring sexy back right there

 

Just as hard as if you were to pull them off a civic. I dont think it would be legal though... [&:]

 

I'm looking at RSX's right now... I won't be getting a new car until late spring or early summer though... gotta get rid of my '94 first

Then again, I might "settle" for a 6 speed TSX... 2.4l vtec... *drools*
