The Evo and the Dodge Caliber share the same Mitsu GS platform. What components of the vehicle will this involve?

I read in C&D that the EvoX will share the same platform as the Caliber/Caliber SRT-4

The srt-4 will have this in it:

Grasping an H-pattern, center stack-mounted shifter, you’ll control a Getrag 6-speed manual transmission to command a 2.4-liter DOHC dual VVT inline turbocharged 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. In an instant you’ll feel 300 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque—enough energy to thrust you back in your seat.

Which I thought the EvoX had a 2L engine in it

The new Caliber is based on the upcoming Mitsubishi Lancer platform sporting powertrains from the DCX World Engine family. They are: 148 hp 1.8L, 158 hp 2.0L and 172 hp 2.4L 4 cylinders. The only transmission choice will be a Continuously Variable type (CVT). The Caliber will be delivered as either a FWD or an AWD vehicle.

yeah looks like the caliber R/T and EVO share the same motor and drivetrain... but the caliber isn't turbocharged/intercooled. Man I see some popular turbo kits coming for this thing... basically a Dodge EVO haha.

Why would they not just get the caliber srt4 with the 300hp Turboed engine with the upgraded suspension, exhaust, motor, and interior/exterior styling?
