The compy lives again. All I had to do was show it a copy of Microsoft XP and it started right up and recognized my hard drive. My gears are no longer grinding at this moment in time.

You should enroll in a college course. Then go to their bookstore and buy up all the latest software. Then withdraw from your classes and you've just spent $5 per title.
