I can't have it not work, I left her instructions to start it up on a weekly basis seeing as I'm going to be gone for the next 2 months. I left her instructions too.

1.Clutch in
2.Start
3.Take out of gear
4.Clutch out
5.Leave for ten minutes

1.Clutch in
2.Put in gear
3.Shut off
4.Clutch out

Taped it right up on the steering wheel so she won't forget. And she can learn how on someone elses car or I'll buy her one of her very own. But not my baby.

That's so mean! [:'(] She has to learn some how, right?
Not on my car, i would never let my woman drive my car if she didn't know how. I'd rather just buy some beater, or even better rent a car for the weekend. Rebuilding transmissions is not my forte. But thats kind of hypocritical of me since i don't know how to drive stick since nobody will let me drive thier car. I mite let one of my guy friends learn, but not a woman. All the ladies i know can't drive for crap.

I've learned that picking fights over stuff like this is not worth my time, it's better to just let people say how they really feel, and if I end up thinking less of them for that, that's their problem and not mine. [sm=burnout.gif]

The high ground, usually the best choice. But that almost completely negates the use of witty banter.

Same with all forms of ignorant mindsets, mxs. Racists, sexists, red neck conservatives that don't even know why they're conservative (or probably what conservative even is), but insist that they are.

There's just no convincing them of otherwise, so why bother.

Ok, lets subsitute the banter for some cold hard facts.

Who has the higher insurance rate men or women? Of course we all know the answer to this one. Here's a link that explains it all.

Are men better drivers than women?

I think high insurance rates for men is due to men doing stupid stuff rather than inability to drive. I think that men are more likely to speed, cut people off and that kind of stuff.

I think those go hand in hand, I'm sure others would agree that a contributing factor in many accidents is lack of rational thought. This leads me to believe that people that do "stupid stuff" have a distinct "inability to drive".
