I'm lookin to buy a new laptop for school next year and there are soooo many options. Can HCF help out?

I'm lookin for:

Speed (I'm too impatient for a slow computer)
Relatively small and easy to carry around
MUST BE HP (my parents are helping me and they work for HP)
Able to do all necessary school work
And preferably reads blu rays so I can hook it up to my little 24 inch hdtv

i think the hp tablet laptop looks pretty cool

and what exactly do you mean by must have blu ray to hook up to your tv. did you want to be able to use the laptop as a blu-ray drive so you can watch blu-ray movies on your tv?

 

Exactly. My tv has an hdmi input so the laptop could be hooked up to it and the blu ray drive would read and play on my tv

Just wondering... if your parents work for HP, why don't you just ask them?

Definitely dont have the bank for alienware haha but yeah it has to be HP. Because one my parents insisted because they wanna support their company and two since theyre helping me pay for it theyd like to utilize their employee discount. My mom's a customer service manager and my dad works environmental health and safety for the site so they arent really on the technology end of the company thus they dont have much technological input as to what would work for me. Right now I'm likin the pavillion dv series. They seem to fit my needs better the farther up the price range I go haha go figure..

 

like i said before, i would just build it custom to fit your needs, im pretty sure HP will let you do that on their site..
