well my dad is looking at getting a used S2000 for a summer car. but he said that he heard that certain years were better than others. i was just wondering what you all thought about them and if you heard anything. thanks

 

All S2k's rock...get two..then give me one.

 

^ i agree with him, but get three and give me one too, but the S200 was revised in 2002, they upgraded the engine and suspension, the engine was the F20C from 99-01 and from 02-05 it is an F22(but the redline is only 8000RPM compared to the F20's 9000redline)... both are kickass cars though...

 

S2000 are pretty cool, but i'm trying to convince my dad to buy an Evo.

 

I want either yellow or black...and it HAS to be a manual...

 

It only comes in manual, i would only want it in black. However, the S2000 is one of the few cars that can pull off the yellow look.

i had no idea they hold their value so well. locally there are 2000s selling for $19000. we also found a pretty nice 2003 black C5 hardtop corvette with 33k miles for only $23000. so hes debating. but i said hed like the honda more. and he likes the dark grey color S2000 the best.

 

I dont like those fiberglass fatboys (corvettes) they're way over rated.

 

What about the C6? Thats one of the only Corvettes i would (that or a stingray).
