Its to stimulate the economy. If you put it in the bank then it defeats the purpose of them giving it to you. For those of you who dont pay taxes and are still being claimed by mommy and daddy. Youwont see any money. Me... im getting about $1800(wife and 2 kids). Recently bought a new house and its probably going intothat. amazing how much my cars get deprived after buying a home haha.

yeah this money is actually pointless... i talked to my friend who is a stock broker in Cali... works for morgan stanley... and this money isnt going back into the ecomony, its going to pay off debt and buy "stupid stuff". the market, and our economy wont be effected at all... i guess some economists apparently believe it will somehow get back to the economy but i dont see it...
