Lots of nice cars and suvs out there but for me the price of gas is a big determining factor. Gas has been predicted to hit $4 to $4.50 per gallon in the not too distant future. They meant in the next year or so. So for me I will be buying another car that gets 40 mpg and we are looking to buy the honda FIT when it comes out in april. It has a 1.5 litre vtec 109 hp which can be tuned to decent power without hurting the gas mileage. We are also going completely through the 91 hatch to make it last as long as possible and keep it for a second car. The days of the big block engines and large suvs are coming to a close.Ford has ceased production of the explorer already so the rest will soon follow suit. Even a six may not be a good purchase even if you have lots of money for gas there may come a time it will be rationed. It has happened before. For me at least, the big block Mustang will be strictly a weekend summer car. But i think that someone is eventually going to figure out how to artificially create gasoline. It can already be done with diamonds.

the next car i will/am going buy is a old a** hippy mobile vw bus. it is like a late 60's model with the kitchen inside and stuff. right know it is so ghetto with all these peace stickers and no war stickers from the 60's. it is a real vintage find, but i am going to restore it to my taste with more a modern interior and granite countertops(maybe) and a big 2200cc engine gene berg style with some nice 16' aluminum wheels, and a spa yellow/silver two tone paint job

it seems odd to me that to some people cars like a 350Z and evo are "Dream cars"...you guys need more expensive dreams.

i will be in the market for a new car in the next year or so, and what i get is heavily dependant on what dodge does with the challenger. if they are going to price it as a supercar (which is stupid, but it may happen) we are almost surely going to buy an Evo..However, amanda has been going on about how nice the new Si's look...

Well i dont know about the 350Z's but the 300ZX TT is one of my dream cars but if we have to dig a little deeper i have always wanted a Dodge Viper especially one done up by Hennessey. Its just that the Z32 is alot closer to being affordable than a Viper

im actually thinking about selling the 99 and getting an EG coupe or hatch.

some day i'll own the TT Saleen S7
Yeah me too, sometimes i want to sell my 97 and get me an EG coupe
im almost 100% sure im going to do it now. ive been looking around for an EG in the area and im probably going to put the EK up in the classifieds. my parents wont let me sell it to the honda dealers here cuz theyre all jerk-offs (my parents had bad run-ins with them when they got their first minivan). so im gunna start looking around for one. im thinking hatch, but i might go coupe because i want it to be able to do both drag racing and autox and the coupe is a better body for drag.

hmm, i don't think the original poster referred to the dream cars. But my dream cars are E39 M5, Mclaren F1, CGT, and Diablo SV.
