I cooked last friday I made chili, and i will be cooking once again later today =] Beef with broccoli nomnomnom

tonight i made asian surf and turf and fried rice on my little flat top...with jumbo scallops in a lemon-butter garlic sauce and new york strip.

no noob, well i made my beef with broccoli, =[ it was less than satisfactory. my chinese food made me a sad panda. i should have marinated longer.

you know, i wasnt very happy with the strip steak tonight. i went to the fresh market and picked out nice looking cuts, but it was a little tougher than i like.

NY Strips? I am more a fan of rib-eyes. I like there to be more fat content in the steak, IMO it gives way more flavor. That is why I am not a fan of lean cuts like filets.
