the big thing down here in winston-salem NC is going out to high pont and cruising. i dont do it anymore as ricer street racers have givin guys like me a bad name. now we just hang out at my house and open the toolboxes and start up the air compressor.

Considering my civic is crappier than stock at the moment, i don't hang out anywhere b/c i'd rather not get laughed at. Me and my friends usually come over to my house and play madden 06 when we don't have school.

theres a big group off ppl who meet around my area called AutoKrats which consist of really really rich ppl with really really nice cars.... they used to meet at the BestBuy untill the last meet got runied by boat loads of cops comming....they dont meet during the winter but were deciding to find a new place to meet for spring time. sad thing is, no one ever does anything at these meets, everyone just stands around looking at other ppls cars and dont talk to u. thats why i barely go unless its a massive meet like the last one which had upwards of 200 cars.

 

There is a strip that all the young car drivers hang out at and cruise. Its in a parking lot of K-mart and usually there is like 30-40 people there. Its cool because there will be all kinds of cars there. Classic, muscle, rice, bikes, trucks, and sometimes some tricked out rides. I used to go there when i had my 300zx TT and show it off.

 

Theres a TON of ricer lots here in G.R. I went out one night after polishing up the car, and stumbled upon a bunch of WRX's (all I could see from the angle I was at. So, I figured what the hell, pulled into the parking lot, came around the buliding, and ended up right in the middle of a rice field... Me and my buddy just busted out laughing and left. I've never seen so many FORD TAURUS TUNERS in my life

Then, a couple weeks ago, I found a little chunk of heaven, right here in Grand Rapids. Friend of a friend of a friend's dog's brother told me about this hidden place downtown. So I went to check it out, and found a TON of beautiful Hondas and Acuras, with knowledgable drivers and nice work done. I'll be hanging out there this summer. And I WILL have my camera next time i go down

is that even a real question?!? Of course man . The only reason I didnt tell them about it before, is that I was sort of uncomfortable there. Not that they're a-holes or anything, but when someone with a butt-load of wheel-gap, riiiimzz, and just a cat-back rolls up, some tend to think the "r" word right away. So, I didnt stay too long. But this spring I'll have the credentials to demand at least a little respect when I roll up. Being as I'll be lowered, boosted, and clllleeeeeaaaaaannnnnn!
