Anyone Sail? I grew up in Chicago and have sailed since I was a kid. I've done the Hook race, Mackinaw... PHRF, and the standard beercan races, along with a few long distance cruises to France (via the azores) and some eastern seaboard cruises.

Mostly aboard a First 30. Currently, I'm in the market for a j/24.

 

I have sailed on a couple boats but I enjoy Kayaking as my water hobby.

 

Whitewater kayaking kicks ***.

 

im a tubing type person myself.........a few tubes and rafts to hold a case or more of beer along with a 5 hour ride.........my kinda relaxing fun on the water.

 

talk about sailing, i was just in a "plastics classics" sailing race(finished 17 out of ~60). crew of 3 on a newport 42'. it was fun too. i'm actually going to be in another race in september. all these races take place in san francisco bay area. i'm not hard core or anything but semi-know my way around a boat.
