ok so i dont know how many people have completely gutted or mildly gutted their interior, but i went all the way, and i was look in my trunk on the driver side, and there was this little plastic thing, and i touched it, and it had a flap....it was an air vent?? who the hell is gonna be riding in my trunk to need nice cold air??? and if there was some one in there i wouldnt be nice enuff to allow them air....has anyone seen this part?

 

I used to hide in my friends trunk when they left school early, cause they had more periods off in the afternoon than I did, and the exits to our campus were pretty watched. That was rad. Yay for being travel size!

hahahah sorry you had no vent lol but really have you ever noticed it in your hatch?

 

Its incase water gets in there... thats what its for really. But it could also serve as fresh air incase someone was locked in your trunk. I have a little glow in the dark thing in mine I think.

 

I've had that same vent in my coupe...dunno WTF it's for though

 

well at least someone knows! i was completely clueless. i just looked at it and i couldnt say anything lol

 

It is for water drainage or to prevent pressure buildup. Like if you turn the vent on high with the windows closed, all that air coming in has to go out somewhere.
