yah I hope to have that Viper up to 135-140 on that main straight if it doesnt rain again. I got the Jeep up to 115 on that main straight in the rain, so i should have little problem hitting at least 130 in the Viper if its nice out.

lol thats me driving that Viper at Limerock raceway in CT. It was apart of the "SRT Track Experience" Basically anyone that bought an SRT product gets access to the SRT T.E. and you get to bring one guest and spend the day driving, racing, and basically pushing every car in the SRT Stable to its limits.

I am going again in Novemember, if anyone from the New England Area is intrested in going let me know Ill bring you as my guest. Other than that anyone can participate but the price is 300 dollars. They give you food and you get to talk to some pretty experienced drivers.

i'll see if I can grab my buddies digital video cam, either way Im going to be taking TONS more pics if its nice out. Because it rained last time, they only let us take the Viper on the autox course. If its nice out we will run them on the track.

The instuctor takes you out in the Viper before you can drive it, basically to scare the living sh t out of you so you dont push the car too much. They've had 2 vipers get wrecked so far.

lol

Vipers are unbelievably easy to wreck. Their squarish footprint makes then VERY unstable at the limit. That said, the Viper, paricularly the new SRT-10 Coupe, is one of my favorite cars ever. They're just so damn sexy. Much more "wow factor" than the Z06.

That can be said more so for the previous Gen Vipers. But the Gen III with its new platform, upgraded brakes (60-0 in 97 ft) as well as a re tuned suspension makes the Viper a DREAM to drive on the track. Its limits are predictible and controled step outs are a lot more easy to modulate. The new Viper is easier to drive at its limits than the new C6Z06.

Every magazine and every racer claim the new Viper to be the best American made car to drive on a road course. The same cant be said for the previous generation, which was more focused in one thing...going faster and throwing balance out the window. This new one with all the new SRT engineers is a big step forward.

If you dont believe me, I invite you to come down to CT next month and find out for yourself
