Would someone with the buttons be so good as to do me a favor and do a small amount of research. I would be curious what the average # of post/page views were per day over the course of the last 6 mths, and then also what the averages were for the last 7 days.

I think that information would be very telling.

i think its just in general...but this forum is really really well behaved , just go and look at other forums with a large number of people and its just flame this and flame that..thats all its is,like 1 big joke when some poor guy just wants some information, people have alot of different opinions and thats what starts it, but i think overall..this forums amazing and we all get along minus a few bickers here and there

Well we COULD. But why?

Getting "along" doesn't SELL. It really doesn't.

Look at our culture today, via or TV programs. What are all the rage? Reality shows. Take a Homosexual-n-Homophobe, a hick-n-gang banger,a *****-n-Amish chick,a rocker-n-country western fan,a ricer -n-muscle car driver, and lock them into a house for a month, and WATCH ON TV what happens. They argue like he11, and America tunes in. Coke vs Pepsi, MCD's vs Burger King, AFC vs NFC, Vette vs Viper, Civic vs errrrrrrrrrrrrr ummmmmmmmm WELL YOU GET MY POINT!

It has always been this way. Everyone loves a train wreck. Shoot look at 60's TV. Take Eddie Haskell off of the Leave it to Beaver show and you have taken away 2/3 of the plots.

Look at this forums most popular threads. The threads with the most looks are the threads where there is conflict.

Take away CONFLICT from this world, and you are left with milk toast.

People simply need to understand to be able to judge comments made on this forum based upon the COMMENTS made rather then the people who are MAKING the comments. I often find that people jump in and take a side simply because they feel they should, rather then to read the comments made and the context in which they were made.

I guess the bottom line is that it would be great if we could all just "get along", but I bet you would find that if we did, this site or any site for that matter would have Prolly 50% less post and page views, and that people wouldn't anticipate what a response has been to a comment made.

NOW with that being said people need to use common sense, and not stir stuff up or get under peoples skins in threads that should be left alone. For example I wouldn't ever log on to thread about BRAKES and tell some person that the last thing a 4 banger needs to worry about is stopping. A thread asking for tech advice simply should remain that and nothing more, NOW if on the other hand we have a thread about a Honda Civic eating a Supra alive from a 60 mph roll, I am going to chime in and pull out the BS flag.

I love nothing more to be in one thread helping someone with advice, or being helped with advice, and AT THE VERY SAME TIME in another "off topic" style thread to be calling that person a F#C%TARD for some stupid comment they made.

The key is to be able to separate the two, and remain "cyber buddies", and just realize it's a MESSAGE BOARD, and nothing more or less.
