Yeah, but the reason I chose the civic is because I drive 100 miles a day for work.. getting ~35 mpg that is a fill up every couple of days at ~$29 each time... starts to add up!!!

I havent needed to drive anywhere yet... we will probably take the street car if we need to get somewhere... gas in Portland is getting over 2.70 again... did it just jump since last night or something?

there was an oil refinery fire that slowed production down, and with CN on strike it made gas prices go up. add on to the fact that it's march break for alot of people there gonna keep it high. just wait, next week it should come down.

things are probably different for you on the island. it's not like you got your own oil refienery off shore. it's gotta come in by trucks for you.
