Windows Issue
I'm a Mac user myself, but my aunt's Dell computer is having issues. It's bogging down and programs freeze up all the time. Where in windows is there something to solve that?
It's acting like how a Mac does when it needs defragged.
And please, don't start any debates or flame.

1. go to the add/remove programs option clear out ANY programs not needed
2. clear out .tmp files
3. clear temporary internet files
4. scan for viruses

Also getting TweakNow Reg cleaner... download it and it cleans up nice... really picks up the speed... and maybe running spybot could clear it up too... both can be found on download.com
Right now I'm defragging and compressing everything.
There is an automatic virus scanner.
So the only things I need to do is add/remove and clear .tmp files. But I think the .tmp files are being compressed??? I clicked on internet files, temporary files, all that stuff when I started the compression.

yeah just go to search and search for all files with the extension .tmp....
type *.tmp and click search...delete all the findings.
then go to the desktop, right click on IE, properties...then click the delete files button...its up to you if you wanna click the delete cookies button too...they are saved web page information, i would
