She is here and she's in better condition that I thought she was...the wastegate actulator became detached, hence no acceleration...and the noise...well it was a rotter flexpipe in the DP, so it's actually good news cause it's somethng I'll fix for free. The body damage is only going to run me 300-500, and the other small stuff is free, but time consuming...

Update...I've removed the damaged haedlght and sorta got the hood and fender straightened..hung the bumper back in place...took me 5 hours to take the downpipe off...it came off in two pieces cause the flex pipe rotted off. When I was undoing from the turbo, one of the studs came off with the nut...fun stuff. The rear O2 sensor is clogged with crap that came out of the cat which is shot...
On a positive note, the turbo is like new...no shaft play at all and no signs of leaks of water or oil. Pics are coming soon.

RE: Wooohoooo, I've got a project car
well here are some pics of the progress...this isn't all, since along the way I'm also swapping the interior to black leather and doing quite a bit of engine work...
a few words of caution to anyone looking to pick up a project car...
1). never dispose of damaged parts until you're 100% sure you're done with the car.
2). putting on a hood requires two people, I'm just a dumba$$ and managed to do it all by myself
3). get all the tool off of the engine head before closing your new hood for the first time
4). chase all the spiders out of the engine bay prior to starting work...
