So I am still not sure of how I managed it but for the next few weeks I will be working at the Willamette Speedway, its a dirt track raceway. I will be serving food (oh yay) But anywaise after the races are over I will try to go down to the pits and take some pictures of the cars, I know quite a few people who race. But anywasie last night they had sprint cars and I went there for like an hour to help close the concession stand and I got 25$ just for doing that it was sweet. Since Im the only guy that works in the concession stand I have to escort all the other girls to there cars there all still in highschool including my girlfriend. Oh and if they gat short-handed on the track i get to go help with watertrucks and that stuff.

Nothing like good ole' hick racing. Those dirt ovals hold alot of "hick" racing events. I was talking with this guy from Nascar at the auto show and from then on i've had a pretty bad impression of the nascar fan type. The guy pretty much hates anything that isn't a V8 big block. He managed to insult every form of racing in the span of about 2 min. He said that indy cars were POSs.

I hate people who arent accepting to other peoples likes and dislikes....he must drink paint thinner..

how can someone hate nascar but like a form of racing that produces about 5 passes in one race? (yes im talking about F1). i like F1 too but man the only exciting part is the start, after that its follow the leader, single file. at least NASCAR is exciting to watch. for example todays race they will be racing at 180 mph, 3 wide, 4-5 rows deap. now thats racing!!!!

 

This really is a hick track you can tell when all the guys with the best cars are farmers and thats what it is but hey its cool I know them all. But anywaise it really is a fun job
