i dont get why you would want to pay so much for them on e-bay when you can get them at the store cheaper, i should go buy one and sell it on e-bay

 

Gotta love capitalism. As for you Mill$civic, have you read the news man? They sold out in minutes. People who were waiting in line over night even didn't get them. What I would do is hold on to them till after Thanksgiving when people become border line psychotic with holiday shopping. I'll bet we'll see some actually selling for two grand at that point. As for me, I'll make my money with some hard honest work and not ripping desperate people off. Good luck to all of you trying to get one, especially you Low Red Si.

Heh, I took the day off of school, and pitched a tent in front of Best Buy at 7 in the morning the day before they came out. I first in a line of about 50. But, I got my damn XBOX, and have no intention on selling, although that much extra cash would be nice...

The reason there was such a fenzy, was because Microsoft, instead of a staggered launch where nore are shipped out every week, they released them all at once, but hadnt made enough for an effective release (factory shortage). SO, unless you pre-ordered, you wont likely get one in my area until MAY (so says EB games). I guess standing in line was worth it.

 

For real though, the PS3 will be better. I would have bought the damn xbox, got new wheels and then get another xbox in january with the same money!

 

I havent opened the box, and flirted with the idea of selling it for some parts and buying another one later, but its just too much to resist, its so sexy.

The only reason I thought about the PS3 was for the infinite amount of games that comes out for Sony. BUT, those said games are 99.9% of the time will be coming out for XBOX.

Anyone looking into Nintendo Revolution? I think its better than the PS3 because its the only place youll find Zelda and Mario.

 

yeah the nintendo would be nice for zelda but thats what i have my N64 for. nintendo was so far behind microsoft and playstation with their game cube. there is no way i would buy the new one. i have a ps2 and i really wanted to get that xbox 360 but i cant throw down $400 and then still have to buy games. thats why im probably going to get a ps3

 

Well...I just gave up calling ALL electronic/places that carry electronics in my area. Everyone is COMPLETELY sold out, and unsure whether they will be getting another shipment in before Christmas. Gamestop was the only place that knew they are getting another shipment..and all of those are already reserved too!

Looks like my bfs gettin a giftcard for xmas.

 

the only way id get a PS3 is if they redesigned that ****** boomerang controller. which i hear theyre doing. so my bedroom may see one after all.

Pretty picky about controllers huh? I dont kno that much about these things cause I dont really play video games. I just know that my bf said he'd get me a pink controller for his xbox if i got him one for xmas lol. so i can play with him. (my fav color is pink).
