Default Xbox 360 question

Im probably buying one soon but im a little confused about the mommery that the unit has. i've seen one with 256mg another with 10gb and even one with 20gb. is this for saving the games so u dont need a memmory card or do you still need one and the mommery is saving stuff u download off the net?

Everything thats saved onto the system is saved onto your hard drive. Ive had mine for about 3 years now and its only at 9.3 GBs. Your gamer profile, achievements, downloadable content, ect, will all be added to the memory. Along with how many gamer profiles you have, noobie ones will usually be looking around 200 kbs but mine is about 4 MBs. Not a big deal to be worrying about the memory.

the 20 gig is the hard drive depending on how much your going to save you might need a 360 with a bigger hard drive you can download stuff off of x box live market place too. and you don't need a mermory card unless you go to a friends house or you want to back up your info

how wouls you get a 10gb one when they only come with 20, or 120gb, unless you buy a core system that doesn't come with a hard drive at all

OP, there is no 10gb 360. There is a "core system," which has no hard drive, and then the regular xbox, with a 20gig, and then the elite, which is black, has HDMI output and a 120 gb hard drive. I don't know if they even sell core anymore, so you would probably do best to get the xbox that comes in the white box with green circle pattern on it.

And by the way, nice ride, I was lurking some of your gallery pictures.

well if you have LIVE i sugest AT LEAST the 20gig BUT i prefer to just GO BUY big..... get the ELITE which comes with the 100gig harddrive and SUPOSEDLY IVE HEARD that the elites internals are beter than the core/premium versions..... SUPOSEDLY its not suposed to 3RED LIGHTS OF DEATH as much as the core/elites do.... LMFAO

im not positive im just saying what ive heard... so far i had my premium go 3RED LIGHTS OF DEATH as well a a CORE go 3REDLIGHTS OF DEATH...

VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! that you have to wait a week or two for XBOX to send you a return box and then you have to send it into them and then WAIT ruffly a month for them to send you another replacement

i dont download MUCH of marketplace BUT i do like downloading FREE DEMOs,,,,,,,,, and they take up space FAST!!!!!!

If you get the 20 gig get one from lot number 736 or higher, they have better internals than the ones before that, there should be a sticker on the side of the box that tells which it is. I would recommend the 20 gig though or go all out and get the elite.
