My xbox has started to freeze every few minutes. That probably means it's on the way out. Anyone know how to speed up the process so I can force it to red ring so I can get a new one?

 

Wrap a towl around it and overheat it. They say it's a way to " fix " it, but it's not. or just put tape over the air ducts to overheat it.

they dont ask for a reciete to prove when you bought it so WAIT till you have a problem and then register it online and file a claim and get it swapped out quickly

yes the towel trick will help it work for alittle bit but your overheating the box so it wont last much longer dont use any tape on the box, and just incase slap a demo disk in the box just incase it doesnt want to open the door to get your good game out

plastic wrap will work better than tape, no residue left on it....

 

My problem is solved. Well, first I didn't get a red ring. I got a red half ring. Only half the circle flashed. But I looked at my receipt and I apparently was smart and bought a 2 year warranty from Best Buy. So, I'm set! I'm gonna return this b**ch to sender and get a new one that isn't screwed up.
