as odd as this may seem, i was not a frequent internet user until around 2003. i had NEVER been online until around 1998. i didnt own a computer until 2000 or so.

my point is that when i got my PS2, i wasnt online at all to read about much, but ive abused mine pretty good, and ive had good luck with it...

 

Yeah, I wouldnt have known that either If I hadnt spent too much time at my friends' house playing PS2 5 years ago. Lol. We had a hard time try to boot the games up.

 

the only problems that ive had, is about two years ago...when i would play a game that scrolls back and forth quickly, like NHL or GTA..it would sort of slow down...lagging and such. i bought a cheap disc cleaner, and ran it through, and it went away.

why do you have to come in here to tell me my decision was wrong? I like what I got thank you. I do not have 200 bucks extra and it would be more than a night my friend went out yesterday at 3pm and he still is not guranteed a ps3. ps they come out 12( midnight) : 01 on friday for those of you who didnt know.

I bought it from microcenter in madison heights. it is right across from oakland mall on 14 and john R? I belive and I go to henry ford 2 highscool in sterling heights.
