Well bitter sweet, the sub ended up being trashed (bad voice coil) serves me right for going against my rule to not buy used speakers [&:]

No, it was "refurbished" but it obviously doesnt seem to be. I payed $36 for it. Nakamichi also has a 90 day warrenty on it too. O well.
