When i think. south. i think Peanuts. I think Corn. I think cabbage, mustards, turnips, and any other kinds of greens.

The sunday after church meal. when i lived in alabama. Immediately following church we would retire to a old ladys house in the church. it was usually a different iouse each week. Any who. there would be fresh cabbage i mean cabbage pulled from the garden this morning. and cooked from 6am until after church. aand then there would be Roast beef. and Fried chicken and maybe some Deer, and always ham. depnding on the season. Fresh corn on the cob, from the field yesterday, shucked last night. cornbread, green beans, and maybe some homemade mashed potatoes. hashbrown casserole. i mean these little old ladies went all out. of course you usually had 30 ppl in the house also. oh and for the dessert. it was bring your dessert. so we always had fried apple pies, lemon meringue pies(yeck), butterfinger crisp pie, some kind of chocloate marhmallow pie/ lol. it wss good stuff. i think its time for a road trip. and time for dinner. lol
