Does that stuff they put on them to see if they are real or not come off, cause you never see that on money.

 

its a chemical marker. If its not legit the paper will turn red where they marked. Those are real. I got them form the bank today. I was kinda nervous walking around with it in my pocket until I got back to the office.

To kinda elaborate on what remmy said, counterfeit pens use iodine that changes color when used with normal paper. When you use it on a bill you can see it for a few seconds then it fades. There are different kinds of pens, I think, but this is how the ones I've used work.
