Default 01 civic power window

My front passenger side window on my 2001 civic ex recently stopped working. The window motor would only go up and never down. This lead me to believe that it was the power window switch that was not working properly. I tried replacing the switch but that did not solve it. Since, I have tried replacing the window motor itself and that did not do anything eithier. Any other suggestions?

Is one of the cables broken (or unhooked)? Does the motor work when the switch is moved both up and down?

Both the old motor and new motor appear fine. I have even plugged them into my back windows and they work fine moving both up and down. when i plug either one into my front passenger window, it only moves up, not down.

have to track down the culprit. take the motor out and move it up and down that way, follow every cable to its next point.
