02 civic si hatchback engine light

Default 02 civic si hatchback engine light

ok i had the oil changed in my 2002 civic si... and the "service engine soon" light came on (engine light)... i know its a reminder to change my oil... but how do i reset it... i read that you have to disconnect the battery terminals and touch them together... is this right??? i have no clue... can someone help.....????

you could try to disconect the negative terminal and then reconnect it/ it won't screww up your car, but i might reset the light . lets put it this way... it won't hurt to try!!!!!

Take it back to the place you had your oil changed at and tell them to reset it.
